The climate at 2400m above sea level is one of perpetual spring. Although we do not have very hot nor very cold temperatures we do have a very broad variation of temperature between daytime highs and nighttime lows. However, our greatest challenge has been experimenting with approximately 30 vinifera grape varieties to understand which varieities would be appropiate for Ecuadorian wines. We have successfully done this in the past 15 years.
